The time is now

Who decides the fate of the church?

You.
The Congregation.

Fill in the Presbytery form to make sure your voice is heard.

According to a representative at Presbytery, the Carngham Uniting Church has "a congregation of only three". That's three people who can decide upon the future of the Carngham Uniting Church.

Precisely what this number has been based on is questionable. Presbytery certainly hasn't shared how they have arrived at that number.

We know that our congregation - the group of people who use the Carngham Uniting Church to worship, meet weekly, support each other and hold each other up - cannot be denied their status. We ARE a congregation.

What also can't be denied is that a congregation has the power in making decisions that pertain to the future of their assets.

Finally Presbytery has accepted that there many people who seek to be formally involved in the operation of the Carngham Uniting Church affairs.
